WHAT’S IN A NAME?
People are looking for hope. Hope is defined as a wish or desire accompanied by confident expectation of its fulfillment. We believe the hopes of the human heart find their greatest fulfillment in a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This hope is expressed by doing the kinds of things Jesus did and now seeks to do in and through us.
Our logo is a simple representation of our vision. The spiral symbolizes growth in our relationship with God, who is at the center of our lives. In ancient Celtic spirituality, the spiral symbolizes eternity. The wavy line symbolizes a refreshing outpouring of love and service flowing out of our relationship with God into our community and the world.
MISSION
The Mission of HopeSpring as a United Methodist Church is to take the Good News of the Kingdom of God into our community and world to make disciples for Jesus Christ through open hearts, open minds, and open doors. (Matthew 28:19-20)
VISION: GROW 2 GO
We are an externally focused church partnering with the Holy Spirit to help people grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and go to extend God’s kingdom through selfless acts of love and service.
7 KEY VALUES
Outward Focused – we value the kind of intentionality that focuses everything we do toward reaching those outside a faith community and continuing to live out the tradition of church planting.
Passionate Spirituality – we value personal relationships with God that are characterized by prayer, joy, giving, and other authentic acts of faith and service.
Holistic Small Groups – we value small groups that provide support, belonging, care and accountability in our personal and corporate growth leading us toward greater intimacy with God, each other and the world.
Inspiring Worship – we value God – centered, culturally relevant, inspiring, uplifting and challenging worship experiences that draw people into an environment of community.
Loving Relationships – we value relationships where people are accepted as they are and lovingly helped to become all that God desires them to be.
Gift-Oriented Ministry – we value a servant culture that helps each person discover and use their Spirit-giftedness in ways that extend God’s love and presence to others.
Social Responsibility – we value and commit ourselves to peace, justice and mercy, and to individual freedom for all people of the world. We will continue to extend our ministry outward into our community through strategic missional partnerships.
